ISIS POINTS LEAGUE 2009

Sue Newman with the amazing 20 year old Jacob wins the Bryngelli Glenys restricted prelim trophy on 28 points with Joan Bell and Isabel Stubbs close behind. The Schneider Trophy (prelim open) goes to Jo Cameron with Coquelle (23 points), followed by Mary Smith (Independence Day) and SallyAnne Barton (Berliner).

In the novice sections, Martina Compton and Carnffoi Morys take the Scarteen Dan Trophy (restricted) also with 28 points, with Catarina Eriksson second and Sue Newman third. The Ted Pacey Trophy for the open section goes to Sheena Grierson and Coustou with 46 points, certainly the highest total during my term as scorer! Lizi Hamilton and Clare Newstead are the runners up here.

Jo Ackland, who very sadly died so recently donated the elementary trophy, which has been won by this year by her pupil and friend, Jill Smith, who achieved 33 points with Miss Marple. Second and third prizes go to Tammie Norton and Pam Walker.

The Strawberry Fair (medium) Trophy goes to Claire Matheson and The Tussler (12 points) followed by Tammie Norton on 10 points and Sue Odom, Pam Walker and Jill Smith each with 6 points.

The new music trophy, the Beltyne Freestyle Cup, will be shared by Jessie Warner and Claire Matheson for the pas de deux at the Christmas Show, with Ginnie Halliwell and Anne Luce close behind.
